Our firm, working with various co-counsel, represent distributors who worked for Flowers Foods, Inc. and Flowers Baking Co. of Oxford, Inc. (“Flowers”). These distributors deliver Flowers' bakery products (such as Nature's Own and Wonder brand breads) to grocery stores and other customers and perform basic merchandising activities (such as stocking shelves) in the stores. Flowers classifies these distributors as independent contractors instead of employees.
