TVI, Inc. (d/b/a Savers Value Village)

This class action lawsuit is brought on behalf of all individuals hourly employees at Saver Value’s Swanson Street and Franklin Mills stores during any time since August 27, 2023. The lawsuit seeks all available relief under the Philadelphia Fair Workweek Employment Standards Phila. Code § 9-4601, et seq.   Specifically, it alleges that Saver Value Village violated the Fair Workweek Law by failing to: (i) provide new hires with a written, good faith estimate of the employee’s work schedule containing the information required by Phila. Code § 9-4602(1); (ii) post work schedules in compliance with Phila. Code § 9-4602(4); (iii) provide advance notice of work schedules pursuant to Phila. Code § 9-4603(1), § 9-4602(5) and § 9-4602(6); (iv) provide employees with $40 premiums when they worked shifts on consecutive days with less than nine hours of off-time in between pursuant to Phila. Code § 9- 4604(2); and (v) provide notice of and award available work hours to current employees pursuant to Phila. Code § 9-4605(2), § 9-4605(4), and § 9-4605(6)).
