SERVING THE GREATER PHILADELPHIA AREA AND BEYOND
This lawsuit seeks to recover unpaid overtime compensation for MLBAM employees who were paid a combination of hourly and piece rate pay. The lawsuit alleges that MLBAM violated federal and New York wage law by failing to credit workers and pay them full overtime premium pay for time spent performing tasks associated with their piece rate work such as, for example, time spent "logging" and "cutting" video footage of Major League Baseball games.
It is anticipated that MLBAM will deny violating any laws.
The Judge has not decided who will win the lawsuit.
As the case proceeds, we will continue to provide updates on this page.
Individuals who worked over 40 hours in a week for MLBAM during the past three years and were paid a combination of hourly piece rate pay are potentially eligible to join the lawsuit by completing and returning a CONSENT FORM.
